Happy New Year! (Although I am well aware that I am a few days late)

So what have I been up to? Well, nothing much except for a considerably long vacation (which is much deserved). I can't seem to recall what I have spent the past 2 months doing but I imagine it along the lines of arcade, eat, sleep, read and work.

I am still fairly proud of AAing Max 300 on the 29th Nov 2007, regardless of it being "heavily overdue".

I have also booked myself a trip to Adelaide to play ITG1/2, along with other Sydney-siders of course. This has given me greater motivation to hurry up an AA PS and possible Unlimited. Stamina, why won't you hurry up and improve?

Because of the vast amount of free time I am currently exposed to, I have found interest in new and old topics. These include forensics, nutrition and dermatology.

I want to talk to much about the latter in particular but I think that deserves a post all on its own.

The answer to that question is yes, yes I am. I can't believe my last post was in August, time has just flown by so quickly, Christmas is just around the corner. I suppose the reason for lack of posting was because I felt like I had nothing revlent to say, but I realize now that it doesn't matter. This journal is for me, I shouldn't care what other people think. So hopefully I will be posting more especially considering I am have 4 months of vacation.

I feel like I haven't achieved very much this year - I am still working at a supermarket and now i have been there for 4 years now. Isn't it time to get things together and find a new job? I think so very much. Uni has also been pretty stressful, but I won't have to worry about that till next year.

I still need to learn to drive, my previous 'instructor' and I didn't along very well so I think it's time to get a new one. Driving isn't really high on my priority list right now because public transport is just so convenient but I guess it can't hurt to learn and that way it's a step in the right direction towards some sort of independence.

So what am I doing with my new found independence? Well I am certainly not putting it to good use. I have been watching a lot of movies that I have always wanted to watch. Today I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Requiem for a Dream. Gosh the 2nd was a beautiful movie. It's nice to see a movie with a sad ending, it's a change from the happily ever ending. Requiem for a Dream can also be contrasted with Trainspotting, which was also a very good movie. Eternal Sunshine was strange - at first it was like 'WHAT IS GOING ON' but it just seemed like all the storylines were everywhere, I don't really understand the movie, so maybe I will have to watch it again. I would also really like to know what orchestral score is played through Requiem...

I have found a new appreciation for orchestral scores.

That's all from me, until next time Lj.

Dear Livejournal,

#1 I have the urge to make a new livejournal and a new username, but then i threw the idea out the window because it would be too much work.

#2 I'm having a pretty crap vacation mainly due to the fact that I think I failed my exams. My exams were ridiculously hard , no multiple choice questions, and a lot of making answers up

#3 DDR sucks, mostly stopped playing.

Ok, so those are 3 not so happy things so let's look at the other side of the cupcake shall we?

#1 Reminiscing about old movies, the specialist, lethal weapon, a clockwork orange and especially William Shakespear's Romeo + Juliet, I forgot how good looking Leonardo di Caprio was!

#2 Everything british, rupert friend, little britian the list goes on...

#3 3 weeks of holidays, sounds good to me!

Dear Livejournal,

1. i walk through a long tunnel to get to uni every day. in this tunnel, there are usually homeless peple playing music, talent etc. ie. busking.

So today, i was walking through this tunnel (see 1.) and there was this twinkling music that was repeating itself over and over and over again. so i turn around and not realize that i am staring, i pinpoint this "music" to this man who had a go at me saying "what are you looking at? what i choose to do with my phone is my own damn business". i tried to then justify myself but he walked off.

so i walk out of the tunnel and the damn music is still going, so i'm thinking "why in the world doesn't the guy answer his damn phone?". i walk for a bit more over to my bus stop and i see that man again.

upon closer inspection i see that he's carrying a women's leather handbag. at this point i should mention, the phone is still ringing and making that same annoying noise.

i then sort of put it together, this guy has taken something that doesn't belong to him. he has taken a woman's bag and this woman is using another phone to call herself, hoping she can relocate the bag. at this point i'm furious, but there is nothing i can do, i can't prove, nor can i go up and confront him. but this is now eating away at me.

I want to eat food at a Gordon Ramsey restaurant.

This will require me to take a plane flight to the US or the UK.

Dear Livejournal,

I am so incredibly happy because i finished off 2 houses (that i thought were impossible) from glider.

i passed rainbow's end: a house with lots of things to collect, it's pretty much impossible to collect every single one.
and the asylum pro: it's called this because it drives the player crazy. crazy --> insane --> asylum
it's a pretty fun house actually, but everytime you touch something it teleports you somewhere else, this is really annoying, but eventually i figured out the steps the finish the game, and i did. well, ric was very helpful.

did i mention ric came over today?

well he did, and he brought dvds yay! dvds = procrastination time = no homework = smile!
he wanted to watch ian flemming's 007 moonraker, so i let him. i grabbed a cushion and fell asleep on the floor ZzZzZz good times.

i have turned ric into a glider addict like myself. we both love glider so much and play it all the time. i only have 5 houses left. 5 out of 16 that i have yet t complete, i think that's pretty good.

yesterday, ric, daniel, joshua and myself went to watch a movie. it was RIDICULOUSLY BAD. the preview looked so good, but the movie was anything but. i was left feeling very dissatified!
can anyone guess what it was?

i miss my ddr friends =(

Dear Livejournal,

I'm terribly sorry that i've been neglecting you, i keep telling myself to update but i cannot seem to bring myself to do so and i'm sorry.

First things first, i've been listening to A LOT of justin timberlake. he was that cute curly kid way back in N SYNC but his singing style has changed quite a bit. from pop to rock to his current album (futuresex/lovesound) which iTunes classifies as RnB.

Ho Hum, i have mid-semester break this week so it's all about the catch up on uni work. i can't seem to bring myself to do that either and quite frankly it's freaking me out. I AM SO GOOD AT MATHS but i cannot do simple chemistry calculations!!! this is really annoying because i don't do maths anymore but i do lots of chemistry!

Still on the topic of chemistry, I fell in love with my chemistry demonstrator but luckily i fell out of love wth him, i'm sure it had something to do with the fact that i longer see him. 2nd yr chemistry sucks. it's all individual work which means you have only yourself to blame when your experiements stuff up. also the product you make after a 4 hour practical is collected, marked and worth 50% of your report mark. LUCKILY i am good at experiments but crap at theoretical writing.

What else?
...
...
...
OH! DDR! well i've been playing quite a bit of ddr. my x1 reading has gne up considerably which is really really comforting. i'm learning to be more comfortable reading x3 but i get all tense and get lot of greats.

The race to max 300 AA race is on.

On a finishing note, thanks to all those that signed my card, smidget, Kaw, Foyboy, windeu and others! and of course to xxxplizit for taking the time to do that. you made me so happy!

happy )
